Orsett House – A Positive Choice in Retirement

At Orsett House we aim to provide a sanctuary that gives protection and support to our residents. Our emphasis is on providing care that guarantees an individual’s privacy, dignity and individuality.

Opened in 1985 by Coral and Freddie Cozier, Orsett House is a comfortable home. The surroundings are attractive, the staff caring and the atmosphere relaxed.

Orsett House is registered with Staffordshire County Council Social Services Department. We have facilities for the mentally alert, the frail elderly, the physically disabled elderly and we specialise in caring for people with all forms of dementia.

Orsett House provides quality professional care within gracious and elegant surroundings. The Home is divided into two separate annexes. The residents who are mentally alert occupy one annexe whilst those with dementia reside in the other.

All of our 47 bedrooms are tastefully decorated, centrally heated and fully furnished. Our rooms are single (there are two twin rooms available) and most are en-suite.

Residents are encouraged to personalize their own rooms whenever possible by bringing in their own possessions.

Our lounges overlook the secure enclosed garden. The grounds include a wishing well, fishpond and summerhouse. Wildlife is abundant throughout the year.

A kitchenette, where residents and visitors can prepare light refreshments, adjoins our ‘Hobbies’ room. Relatives and friends are always welcome at Orsett House, as there are no visiting restrictions.

Our staff are selected both for their skills and sympathetic, caring attitudes. Staff training is a continuous process.
